he Albanian American Bektashi Monastery is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mynyr Z. Nazifi to the office of president of the board of directors of the Teqe in keeping with the wishes of the community through an election and in keeping with the bylaws of our non-profit religious organization laid down by Baba Rexheb.

Mr. Nazifi is a longtime member of our community. He has devoted decades of his life in service to Baba Rexheb and our Teqe from the moment he arrived in this country from the Prespa region of the former Yugoslavia. Even after the passing of our dear saint, Mr. Nazifi continued to provide the Teqe with financial, advisory, and moral support. And he continues to do so to this day. Therefore, we have placed our utmost confidence in him and pray that he will lead this community to bright horizons.

We are also pleased that Mr. Nazifi brings to our Teqe a wealth of experience to strengthen our organization in commitment, strategic transformation, finances, policy, and expansion. With decades of experience in the business, we are confident that Mr. Nazifi will provide our board of directors with a wide variety of knowledge and skills.
With this new beginning, we would like to stress the urgency of educating our children and youth about the importance of this Teqe. With them lay the future of this unique religious establishment. Certainly, if nothing is done in this regard and we fail to pass on our traditions, this community will shrivel as the years go by and eventually pass into history. Therefore, we ask you to work with our new board to establish educational and youth outreach programs!

In closing, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our past board of directors and commend them for the services they rendered to our Teqe and the Bektashi Path. No building can be built without a solid foundation, so our past board members, both living and departed, will always have our wholehearted appreciation and gratitude for laying our foundation.
